You think I'm kidding? Just ask my family....on second thought, don't.
Mmmmm....the source from where it all comes from: the wonderful coffee bean!
I remember the first time Pete had a capuccino. We were at Marshall Fields in Chicago. He added about 3 packets of Sweet and Low to it (ICK!) and by time it was all said and done, he didn't drink it...neither did I. WAY too much artificial sweetner! LOL!
Yeah...but it's so darned good! Who wouldn't pay $5.oo for a Mocha Latte with skim milk and a shot of peppermint????
Speaking of which....have any of you tried Bearclaw Coffee? It's that new little log cabin-ish drive-thru across the street from Martin's. I'm here to tell ya...YUM! I like them better than Starbucks, they give you a little tootsie roll with your coffee, a punch card for the 12th one free, and you don't have to get out of your car. What more could a coffee lover want?
*Disclaimer - I have in no way, shape or form, been paid by Bearclaw Coffee for my celebrity endorsement, although I think they did put a little extra chocolate in my mocha latte this morning. No stunt double was used to hold the cup of coffee.

Lisa, Lisa, Lisa - could all that caffeine be the reason you posted at THREE-FIFTY-EIGHT AM?? hmm? I'll give the Bearclaw a try, but there's also a Bear Naked Beanery going in over by Wal-Mart who knew that bears had so much to do with coffee?
Yes Randy...June and I scoped out Bear Naked Beanery a couple of weeks ago. We are waiting for it to open up so we can give them a try...although I'm not sure I want to have to show up Bare Naked...it'll scare the little kids away...but then again, little kids shouldn't be drinking coffee!
My love goes out to my wife Heather for bringing me Panera Bread coffee every Wednesday morning after Bible study with the high school girls.
We have Starbucks coffee at work, but it's very unsatisfying. It's a bit bitter and unpleasant. Never mind I drink over one pot a day just by myself . . . it's a bit of a nasty habit I have.
:) tried the 'Claw for myself this morning - friendly folks, good service, and YEAH! a tootsie roll. Coffee was good, but still a tad below Starbucks. Although staying in the car might make it a better deal, especially since I'm running late this year! Thanks for the tip. I'm looking forward to your review of the BearNaked beanery (hot coffee? naked? not good!)
